Born in San Francisco to third generation Eurasian Filipino parents with a strong heritage in the textile industry- Litton Mills, one of the first textile mills in the Philippines. Raised in Singapore, Manila, London, Rome, New York, and Bali. Allen is an eccentric design thinker, sustainable fashion designer, entrepreneur, and Davis United World Scholar with a BSc in Urban Planning from the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning at Cornell University and a MA in Fashion Futures from London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. A frequent traveller who has not stayed within any national borders for more than a few months since the age of three, after three years of working for various start-ups and award winning fashion boutiques such as Cotton Sheep (San Francisco), he is currently the Creative Director and Founder of Bodies As Clothing, a 100% plant dyed natural fibre mens and womenswear clothing line. His brand has been featured in a number of prestigious publications such as Architectural Digest and Up Next Designer. Allen believes that design is one of society's most powerful tools to bring about cultural change, and that humans can be good for Earth.
